Bichon Frise & Allergies
My maltese Tiff died over a year ago. I am thinking about getting
another furbaby and have been told that Bichon Frise and Poodles are the
best breeds to own if you have allergies. Please let me know if you have
any info on this. Thank you.

Bichon Frise puppies
I am interested in buying a Bichon Frise puppy, but have no idea where to get one since I live in Oklahoma. I've heard that you can have them flown to an airport near you and then you can pick them up, but I don't know. If any breeder has any suggestions for me than e-mail me back and give me some advice where to get one, how to get one and everything else.

Georgie & Anniebelle, my bichons
I bought Georgie because I loved his sweet face in 1992. He was my 1st Bichon Silvia's good friend for the last year of her life. He is the liveliest dog anyone could want!. He plays ball whenever anyone will throw his ball for him, and loves to run at top speed in circles. He loves to run with my cats and his good friend Anniebelle. Georgie can obey basic obedience tricks well, although he hates to come when he is running outside.
Anniebelle is about 2 years younger than Georgie. She is a cuddler and couch potato, much like Silvia, who died at age 13 from cancer. Anniebelle, for all her sweetness, hides a hunter's spirit. She loves to hunt for rabbits outside and toys in the house. She has never caught a rabbit, but she loves to shake her toys. She mothers the cats and Georgie, and me, but refuses to learn the tricks Georgie does so well. She knows them--she just knows how to look cute better!
I love my bichons, & would recommend this bree

I LOVE MY BISHON
My Bishon is named Fritz, and yes he totally fits his name, he is
so funny. When he gets in trouble it's so hard to yell at him cause he
is so cute!!! I got Fritz for free from someone that abused him, they had
thrown him down the stairs and broke his leg. When I got him he did not
like steps, the house we rent had a wheel chair ramp, so Fritz could go
in and out of the house, and not have to use the steps, he thought that
was pretty neat!

We found Jack wondering the streets, after
enquiries we decided to keep him. He is such a gentleman that he sleeps on our bed and goes everywhere with us! Jack now has a wife and two children still at home. We love them dearly.
Highly intelligent, affectionate, and irresistable the Bichon is indeed the dog of dogs.

Our new puppy
We haven't had a dog in years and really wanted a sweet house dog.
A family member had a Bichon and we found her adorable and liked the fact
that the breed didn't sheed, was very intelligent and basically hypo-allergenic.
Well we found a wonderful breeder and immediately became attached to a
10 week old male. It was love at first sight. We now have an 18 week, gorgeous
Vincenzo di Lucca....otherwise known as Vinni. We cannot imagine a better,
more lovable addition to our family.

I Love My Bishon !!!
My Bishons name is Toby. We found him at my church wondering around
hungry and shaggy. We rescued him, fed him,and gave him lots of love and
attention. After searching for his long lost owner and no luck we fell
in love with him, and decided to keep him. We took him to be groomed and
we found out that we had a diamond in the ruff! What a little gentleman!
Toby has adjusted to his new family just fine! We now have had him for just about a year! He is the best most well behaved dog I have ever seen, and very playfull too!!!

LITTER SIZE OF BICHONS
Our female recently had a litter with six pups. We were told by
the breeder we purchased our dog from to expect small litters (two to four
pups). Is this an unusually large litter, or should we expect a similar
number of pups if we breed again. We were also surprised by the ease of
whelping. I expected a somewhat difficult process from such a small breed.

We currently have two dogs-a French Bulldog(female), and a Bichon(male).
they are as opposite as they can be-The Frenchie(Honeypot) is extremely laid back. The Bichon(Bianco) is the most active little guy you have seen. He loves to wash Honey's face and eyes, and he constantly atacks her so she will play. They are quite an entertaining pair and protective of one another.
We really love them to pieces and if we were to get another dog or dogs, these two would be our first choice.

Bichons are the BEST dogs around!!
I own a two-and-a-half year old Bichon named Belle. She is the greatest
dog! We found her at a pet shop, and, against all warnings, bought her
although we think she came from a puppy farm. Poor dog! Anyway, Belle is
doing great!!! My bichon and most other bichons have a sensitive stomach,
often bringing on HUGE vet bills. If you also have this problem, please
give us some advice!!

This is wonderful!!!
I don't own a Bichon Frise, but my boyfriend does. We were just thinking about his dog and decided to do a search and found this site.
The picutres are beautiful! The graphics are just too cute for words!
Keep up the great work!!!

We own a fourteen months old Bichon named Cachou. To the person
wondering about potty training her two month old, I would suggest : be
persistent. cachou became housetrained from one day to the next when she
was about six months old. From two months to six, she would forget herself
at least once a day. Now, she asks to go out three times a day, at regular
hours and goes on command when we go out for a drive. She is a fantastic
dog to have around with children

I have a almost 4 year old Bichon, named Sasha
We love her dearly but her constant scratching
has left us some days frustrated. We ran both
food and plant allergery tests. We did find out
that she is allergic to meat and some mole.
So we have of course stopped giving her
meat and have air filtered the house.
Still at times she will scratch and especially bite
her paws. It is very frustrating and I am sure
very upsetting to Sasha.
If there is anyone out there that also has this
problem with their bichon let me know if you
have found anything that helps.
Ray and Dee
